Camp Corbett

Hello,

This is my first Blog and I have decided to begin blogging because I wanted to share with other people my life experiences, trials and joyous moments. This year marks the beginning of the rest of my life. I know that sounds silly, but I have prayed and made the decision to begin Homeschooling my four children. I am taking a leap of faith! Outside our Church I know only a few people who are Christian and even fewer homeschoolers.

Since becoming a Christian I have been changed and my heart has been brought home to serve my family. After the Lord, my family has become my top priority. If you told me 5 years ago I would be a mother to 4 children, baking my own bread (grinding the grains myself), keeping the house clean (and enjoying it), planning meals, trying to budget and overall manage a home as well as undertaking the task of teaching my own children I would have told you that you are crazy!

I have also been asked this year to serve as a Crew member for TOS Homeschooling Magazine. I will be reviewing home school products. I can't tell you what a honor it is to serve on the Crew and I hope to do it well.

I LOVE to cook and will be sharing recipes and pictures of my "cooking experiments". I can't wait to share with you all the ups and down of parenting four children under the age of 7. So please, pull up a seat around the Bone fire grab some marshmallows and enjoy Camp Corbett!
